Unlike the previous Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine is not a PvP (player against player), but a PvE (player against the environment). This new game of the franchise will therefore be played in cooperation against the brand new mutant race of extraterrestrial parasites, which infects human hosts, as well as their environment. We should nevertheless find some of the elements that made the success of Six Siege, like the way the player apprehends the shootings or manages his many gadgets.

Watch Dogs Legion

In this game as in the old Watch Dogs, you have the possibility to hack the city’s vehicles and cameras. Some may for example deactivate drones, while others will benefit from greater physical strength.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

  • Platform (s): Xbox One and Microsoft Windows

The adorable little Ori is back. After a first episode full of charm (but not always, we remember the tragic introductory sequence), the little white character returns to us in a world just as magical as the previous one, but even more dangerous. The soundtrack may still be a big hit. Come on, we can admit it: the first opus, Ori and the Blind Forest, remains one of our favorite titles to the editor. We can’t wait to find the little character!

Fairy Tale

  • Developer: Gust
  • Platform (s): PS4, Xbox One and PC

After the success of the animated series of the same name and broadcast on Netflix, Fairy tale is now coming to video games. You can embody the various characters of the guild such as Lucy, Natsu or Gray, and you play here in story mode. You have the ability to complete quests to gain experience and rewards. Regulars of the series should not be completely disoriented, since the game promises to find the same events as those of the anime.

Animal Crossing New Horizons

  • Developer: Nintendo Switch
  • Platform (s): Nintendo

Animal Crossing New Horizons is a brand new opus of the saga and really different from the last parts. In this one, you land on a desert island and your task will constitute its reconstruction. For this, you will need to find materials (wood, leaf, stone, etc.) with which you can make tools and various objects, such as a shovel, an umbrella or even a fishing rod. You will play your own character who will be of the gender of your choice.

Doom Eternal

  • Developer: Bethesda Softworks
  • Platform (s): Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Stadia

Is it necessary to present Doom? Like all other licensed games, Doom Eternal is a first-person shooter. And like the previous parts, you evolve in a horrifying world. You will play the character of Dooms slayer, determined to exterminate the infernal horde. Doom Eternal will also offer you an “invasion” mode, in which you will have the possibility of playing a demon. However, you will have to be patient, because this mode will be released after the game’s exit. The date of release of this mode, which promises to increase the interest of the game (who said that we ended up getting tired of Doom?) Has yet to be released.

Half-Life Alyx

  • Platform (s): requires an Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, Valve Index, HTC Vive or Windows Mixed Reality

No, you are not dreaming: after more than a decade of absence, a new album by Half-Life is out. You play here Alyx Vance, who is none other than the daughter of Doctor Eli Vance. This new part takes place before the events of Half-Life 2 and promises to be even more scary, even more bloody than all the other episodes of the saga. Note that the game is only intended for owners of an VR helmet. It is impossible to play without this accessory.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

  • Developer: Square Enix
  • Platform (s): PS4

Released in 1997 on the first PlayStation and on PC, Final Fantasy VII made a remarkable comeback on PS4. If the new version takes the same plot as its “ancestor”, the new edition has been completely recreated to adapt to the current possibilities of the latest console from Sony. Take control of Cloud and try to thwart the Shinra’s plans before it’s too late.

Marvel Avengers

  • Developer: Marvel
  • Platform (s): PS4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Google Stadia

In this new title from the Marvel development studios, you have the opportunity to embody all the characters from the Avengers universe. If you can play four in coop, the game also offers you a whole new scenario. Marvel Avengers should also offer a multiplayer mode, in which, as usual, the player can face opponents online. As announced earlier this year, Marvel Avengers will be available on Google Stadia, the Cloud Gaming platform signed by the giant of Mountain View.

Ghost of Tsushima

  • Developer: Sucker Punch Productions
  • Platform (s): PS4

The action of this game takes place during the Mongol invasion of Japan on the Tsushima Islands in 1274. Jin Sakai, the character you play, is the last of the samurai. In order to defeat the Mongol Empire and fight for independence from Japan, you will need to learn to master a new fighting style called the Path of the Ghost. Ghost of Tsushima sets its scene in an open world: you can move anywhere, as you wish. This title is only played in “story” mode. To design their game, the developers were inspired by various manga like Lone Wolf & Cub, and it shows strongly in the trailer that you can watch above.

Cyberpunk 2077

  • Developer: CD Projekt RED
  • Platform (s): Xbox One, PS4, PC and Stadia

This is probably one of the most anticipated titles of the year, if not of the decade. The development of Cyberpunk 2077 started in 2012: the wait was long and we now hope that it was worth it. As the name of the game suggests, the action is in 2077. Here you will control V, the main character, who evolves in a futuristic and dangerous city. You can choose the look of your character, gender, class and skills (physical, intellectual, etc.). Any choice you make can have far-reaching consequences for the rest of the story. Another notable element: one of the non-playable characters is played by actor Keanu Reeves, who plays here a rockstar who has become a vigilante. In view of the premieres of this game, we really can’t wait to see what it’s worth, especially since it will fully exploit the Ray-Tracing card. If this technology is not a big first in the video game world, at this level.

Overwatch 2

  • Developer: Blizzard entertainment
  • Platform (s): PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC

Overwatch 2 will take over most of the elements of the first part, but will also offer a PvE story mode (player against the environment). Players will face AI co-op there. You will evolve in teams of four players on a map or will have to carry out the requested objectives. Good news: the players of the first Overwatch will also be able to find those of Overwatch2, but only in PvP (player against player). To access story mode, you will obviously need to buy Overwatch 2.
